From the early beginnings of a family farm in Tasmania, quarter of a century later, Houston’s Farm has grown into a vertically integrated business supplying salad leaves to much of Australia.
In the 1960s, Maitland and Bunty Houston established an egg farm in southern Tasmania to support their six children. In the late eighties, their youngest sons, Anthony and Colin Houston made the decision to switch from eggs to growing, packaging and marketing salad products.
Over the years, Houston’s Farm has pioneered product innovation, growing techniques, harvesting processes, lean processing and efficient logistics to deliver premium salad products to market. Our products are sought after for their quality, flavour and freshness.
Today, Houston’s Farm continues to combine a future focus with know-how and good old fashioned hard work in the quest to provide the highest quality, most exciting fresh salads to consumers all across Australia.
